From there, you’ll head to the Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, located near the Red Fort. Next, enjoy a visit to Humayun’s Tomb, the beautiful garden tomb of Mughal Emperor Humayun, which inspired the design of the Taj Mahal. Afterward, head to the striking Lotus Temple, known for its unique lotus-shaped architecture and serene atmosphere. Your day will also include a visit to Chandni Chowk, a bustling market area with narrow lanes, ancient havelis, and street vendors selling a variety of goods. After checking in and resting, head out for a tour of Agra's most famous monuments. Start with the Taj Mahal, the world-renowned symbol of love. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is an architectural marvel, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Spend time marveling at its grandeur, the intricate marble inlay work, and the stunning gardens surrounding it. Next, visit Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, which served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors until 1638. Explore its magnificent architecture and learn about its fascinating history. Visit the Tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah, often referred to as the ‘Baby Taj,’ and admire the intricate craftsmanship of this stunning mausoleum. Start your day early with a mesmerizing sunrise view of the Taj Mahal, as the golden rays of the sun cast a magical glow on the marble structure. Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast and check-out. Proceed to Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the abandoned capital city built by Emperor Akbar. Continue your sightseeing with a visit to the City Palace, the former royal residence, which now houses a museum displaying artifacts and royal costumes.
