Travel in comfort through the scenic countryside of Rajasthan in a private air-conditioned vehicle. The drive to Ranthambore covers a distance of about 180 km and takes approximately 3 hours.

Reach Ranthambore around noon and prepare for your jungle safari adventure. Before entering the park, you’ll be briefed by a licensed naturalist guide and assigned your safari vehicle — either a 6-seater open jeep or a larger 20-seater canter, depending on availability. Make sure to carry a valid government-issued photo ID for entry.

Your 3-hour jungle safari begins in the afternoon, the best time for wildlife sightings as animals often emerge from the shade in search of water. As you venture deep into the wilderness, witness the stunning beauty of the park’s dry deciduous forest, open meadows, and ancient ruins scattered throughout the jungle. With some luck and patience, you may spot a Royal Bengal Tiger strolling through the forest. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for leopards, jackals, wild boars, crocodiles, sambar deer, langurs, and vibrant birdlife.

If time allows after your safari, take a short visit to the famous Ranthambore Fort, perched on a hill inside the park. The fort, dating back to the 10th century, offers panoramic views of the forest and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its historical importance and architectural beauty.

After an exhilarating safari and optional fort visit, begin your return journey to Jaipur around 6:00 PM. On the way back, you may request a quick stop for dinner at a roadside restaurant or dhaba (meal not included).

You will arrive back in Jaipur by 9:00 PM or 9:30 PM. Our driver will drop you off at your hotel or the location of your choice. The day concludes with wonderful memories of a thrilling wildlife experience in the heart of Rajasthan.

The distance between Jaipur and Ranthambore is approximately 170-180 kilometers, and the drive typically takes about 3 to 3.5 hours one way. The roads are well-maintained, making for a smooth and scenic ride.

The best time to visit Ranthambore National Park is from October to March, when the weather is pleasant and wildlife sightings are more frequent. During this time, the chances of spotting tigers are higher as they come out near the water bodies to quench their thirst.
